Terms of Service

Effective date: July 29, 2026

Introduction

Welcome to Truist Tax Services, operated by TruistTaxServicesGroup Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and all tax preparation, accounting, bookkeeping, and advisory services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing our website, requesting a consultation, or engaging us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Services.

Company Overview

TruistTaxServicesGroup Inc., located at 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, provides professional tax and financial services, including personal and business tax preparation, audit representation, bookkeeping, and related advisory work.

Acceptance of Service Terms

By scheduling an appointment, signing an engagement letter, approving a quote, or paying for any portion of a service, you enter into a binding service relationship governed by these Terms, your specific engagement letter, and any signed service agreement. Where terms conflict, the written engagement letter or service agreement takes precedence.

Client Responsibilities & Eligibility

You affirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to authorize financial work for yourself or your business entity. You agree to provide truthful, complete, and accurate information about your financial situation, income, and expenses. We are not responsible for disallowed items, penalties, or interest resulting from false, incomplete, or misleading information provided by you.

Estimates & Project Scope

Quotes are based on the complexity and scope of work as reported by you. Financial complexities, missing documentation, or additional filing requirements discovered during the engagement may result in adjusted fees. If the scope changes — for example, additional state returns or business entities — we will notify you of any fee adjustment before proceeding, and no additional billable work will begin without your approval.

Scheduling & Appointments

You agree to provide timely responses and documentation. We are not liable for delays, including missed filing deadlines, caused by a failure to provide necessary documents or information in a timely manner.

Payment Terms

Unless otherwise stated in your agreement, payment is due upon completion of the service deliverable and prior to filing or release of documents. We reserve the right to withhold filing until payment is made in full. Late payments may incur interest or suspension of ongoing services, and returned payments may incur administrative fees.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

You may cancel services in writing and will be responsible for payment for any work performed up to the point of cancellation. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule an appointment. Refunds are issued at the Company's discretion and are generally not available once work has commenced or been completed, regardless of the tax outcome.

Privacy & Data Protection

We adhere to strict confidentiality standards. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Text messaging is additionally governed by our SMS Terms & Conditions.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

We prepare filings and provide advice with professional care based on the information available and the law in effect. We do not guarantee any particular refund, tax result, or that a return will not be selected for examination. Taxing authorities make independent determinations.

Limitation of Liability

We prepare returns based on the information you provide. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for taxes, penalties, or interest assessed due to incorrect or incomplete information you provided, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TruistTaxServicesGroup Inc., its officers, and its agents from any claims or damages arising from your breach of these Terms, your failure to disclose relevant financial information, or any fraudulent activity on your part.

Dispute Resolution

Before pursuing legal action, both parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation. If a dispute remains unresolved, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Sheridan County, Wyoming, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party bears its own legal costs unless otherwise awarded.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Updates to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted to our website, as reflected by the effective date above. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
